Margaret Moses Branch

Welcome to my collection.

I’ve been collecting historical Native American fine art since 1983 which was when I opened my first gallery, Nizhoni Moses ltd., in Old Town Albuquerque, New Mexico. Horace Moses, my grandfather was the president, as well as one of the founders, of the Gallup Ceremonial. Horace’s wife, and my Grandmother, Margaret Winnips Moses loved all Native American art and was a courier for the “Fred Harvey Company.” She gave tours to the travelers that came by train and educated them on the culture of the Native Americans. She herself was a major collector of fine American art.

25 years in the Arts has motivated me to expand the focus of my collection. I continue to highlight the fine old and newer textiles of the Diné (Navajo) as well as the pottery and jewelry of the Native people of New Mexico and Arizona.

I closed the Albuquerque gallery and briefly opened up a larger gallery in Santa Fe. While that gallery is no longer open the collection is still available for purchase online.
